How long does Incotec serve the leather industry? |
Since its foundation in 1986. The founders of Incotec started
to work with tanneries in 1979. |
| |
Does Incotec only have tannery customers? |
No. More than 50% of Incotec business comes from serving other
industries. Among our clients are well-known companies who contract
us for electronics and software development. Tannery customers
benefit from this, because our team is familiar with state-of-the-art
technologies and brings new ideas into the tannery field. |

What is TanWare? |
TanWare is an array of turnkey automation systems for tanneries.
Various independent subsystems, such as DrumWare, AquaWare,
ChemWare, BlueWare, etc. automate different aspects of the production
process in a tannery. TanWare is composed of equipment, control
units, hardware, and software. It is linked through the TanWare
network. |
| |
What is the TanWare network? |
The TanWare network is an Ethernet local area network connecting
control units, process computers, and PCs. It is based on the
same technology as standard PC networks, such as the one in
your office. |
What is the advantage of having such a network? |
There are several advantages. Networking enables integration,
interaction, remote monitoring, recording, and remote control
of production processes. |
What is BlueWare? |
BlueWare is a hide measurement system that can measure area,
thickness, shape, and weight. It can be deployed for quality
control, grading, and sorting hides. |
Why is BlueWare called BlueWare? |
The product is marketed under the name BlueWare, because most
of our customers use it to measure wet blue and wet white hides. |
Can BlueWare be used only for wet blue? |
No. BlueWare is flexible enough to be deployed at many different
production stages, including raw hides, splits, and finished
hides. |
Which other processes does TanWare automate? |
There are modules for wet process automation, quality control,
grading & sorting, and process control. Presently other
components are being developed to complement these systems.
Development is oriented towards the goal of the computer-integrated
tannery (see below). |
How does TanWare differentiate itself from
competitor products? |
First and foremost by quality. We are not trying to be the
cheapest, but we are certainly trying to be the best in our
market. TanWare offers superior quality at affordable prices. |
Can TanWare be adapted to work with our machines? |
Yes; TanWare is very flexible. It is designed to work in almost
any plant layout and with almost any machine configuration.
We call this parameterization. |
How much does a TanWare installation cost? |
It depends on (1) which TanWare components you choose to install,
and (2) the chosen or required customization options. The total
price of a TanWare system is comprised of equipment cost, software
license fees, and service fees. - Please contact us for a quotation. |

What is the computer-integrated tannery? |
The computer-integrated tannery is a vision formulated by
Incotec in 2003. We envision it as a fully automated tannery
integrated by TanWare, where all machines are part of the TanWare
network and where every aspect of electronic data processing
from the shop floor level to the management level is incorporated. |
