Who are we?
INCOTEC Automation GmbH, was established in 1986 in Bielefeld, Germany, by Michael Sauer
and Friedemann Sokoll. The company’s mission is to create
innovative, high-quality, robust automation solutions for industrial
applications. Making tannery automation its special subject from
the beginning, Incotec has seventeen years experience in designing
solutions for the leather industry.
Where are we?
The company is headquartered in Bielefeld, Blomestraße 25-27,
where fourteen employees work on five hundred square meter office
space, laboratory, and modern production area.
What do you make?
INCOTEC’s flagship product, TanWare, was introduced in 1987
and has been enhanced and refined since then to become the industry’s
leading computer automation system. TanWare is in operation worldwide
and currently controls wet processes at over twenty tanneries with
more than two hundred fully automated networked control systems.
What is your business strategy?
INCOTEC’s corporate philosophy is defined by the values of
partnership and a “can do” approach. Incotec aligns
its interests and goals with those of its partners. We guide customers
through automation projects and candidly provide expert advice at
all stages. We are determined to put concepts and ideas into workable
and economical solutions, even if this means to abandon conventional
methods, and to find radically new ways to solve problems.
What does this mean for me?
Customers benefit from our long-term experience and from the fact
that Incotec is able to provide turnkey systems from one source.
Our ambition is to leave no problem unsolved and to create optimal
solutions for them. To achieve this, we take ownership of our customer’s
problems, creatively design and evaluate solutions, and apply proven
engineering methods to perfect a chosen design. Because of our hands-on
style, customers find it easy to work with us.

automation.
- Design and development of customized hardware and software for
machine control systems.
