
Is it designed for tanneries?
ChemWare / Gravimetric is a system for automatic dosing of liquid
chemicals by weight. It has been designed specifically for tanneries;
not for the textile industry like other systems. At the heart of
the ChemWare Gravimetric system is a precise load cell system and
a heavy duty INCOTEC process computer.
What if I have a different size drums?
ChemWare is available with a standard capacity of 800 litre and
1200 litre tanks. Other sizes are available upon request.
Up to 24 different liquid chemicals plus hot and cold water can
be dosed automatically.
ChemWare supports extremely complex formulas and mixing procedures
(stirring, manual interventions, and rinsing).
ChemWare allows for manual addition of solids and certain liquids.
How do the operators know when they have to do something
manually?
ChemWare calls the operator to perform manual additions and verifies
additions automatically.
Will it save chemicals?
ChemWare uses special two-stage dosing valves, which permit dosing
accuracy unmatched by standard valves.
ChemWare uses precision load cells from a brand name manufacturer.
ChemWare records each batching job meticulously for later reference
and trouble-shooting purposes.
Will it save time?
ChemWare allows batch jobs to be queued and processed by priority.
If there is more than one pending order at any given time, orders
are optimized. As orders are sent early by DrumWare, the requested
mixture is usually ready and stored in the batching tank, when needed
in the production process.
Besides automatic dosing, these jobs may contain manual additions
and commands to control stirrer and rinsing individually.
ChemWare has a time saving function. ChemWare has a load balancing
function. When using multiple ChemWare units, orders are dispatched
automatically to the unit that becomes available first, which significantly
increases overall throughput.
Is it fully integrated?
ChemWare can be used either stand-alone or in conjunction with
other TanWare components, where dosing jobs can be issued by multiple
DrumWare systems, according to pre-programmed formulas.
