What is StartWare?

StartWare is an entry-level drum control system, priced for tanneries that do not need the sophistication of the full DrumWare system. It offers many of the features of DrumWare, including most control functions, but without the need to run automatically. StartWare can be seamlessly upgraded to DrumWare at a later stage, preserving your investment.

Is it easy to use?

What functions can be automated?

• Drum rotation, different speeds with flexible interval programming.
• Wide set of predetermined rotation programs available.
• Drum positioning with adaptive (self-learning) load and brake functions.
• Lubricating device control.
• Operation and check of up to 3 drum doors.
• Supervision of safety barriers incl. gate locking.
• Float filtration control including automatic filter cleaning.
• Drum temperature adjustment including curve programming.
• Control of preparation tank functions, such as hot/cold rinsing, stirring, temperature regulation and feeding into drum.
• Slow drum feeding can also be performed via interval programming.
• Control of laboratory box bypass valve.
• Drainage of vessel with multiple channel support. Draining can be performed either with rotating drum, or with stationary drum, e.g. via "banana channels."
• Should the drain channel capacity be limited, an interlock mechanism is used to prevent multiple vessels from draining simultaneously.
• Drainage is stopped by timeout, flow sensor, or load cell monitoring.
• Supervision of “drainage valve closed” status.
• Decompression valve control.
